Head of Department
Christian Herrendorf started writing and working as a journalist in the previous century. Around the middle of his 19 years in the business, he experienced with the magazine “Herzrasen” what it’s like to write only stories you want to read yourself, supplemented by the matching, perfect photo – and thus publish a product designed with passion right down to the last line.
With his team at the small and exquisite Westdeutsche Zeitung, he is now working on how to follow this ideal under the new conditions. As he searches, he finds out more and more that journalists today have a much better chance of living the core of their profession.
“At the end of the first OSF Congress I invented the word brain marathon. I am very much looking forward to my second start and the associated muscle soreness at the finish.”
