With a panel discussion we would like to shed light on the disinvitation of Talib Kweli from the Open Source Festival in connection with the subject of BDS. Jakob will illuminate the panel and the discourse from a scientific perspective.

Jakob Baier, born in 1986, is a political scientist and researches anti-Semitism in popular culture at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen. He was previously a lecturer for German-Jewish educational history and for the history and present of anti-Semitism at the University of Kassel. As a doctoral student at the Hans Böckler Foundation, he is currently working on his dissertation project on anti-Semitism in German-speaking rap.
