Philipp Holstein writes about music, film and the present. He has published a book about turning thirty (30 – Bis hierher und wie weiter) and one about being a father (Vatertage). He is co-inventor of the talk series “Das popmusikalische Quartett” and the event format “Rückkopplung” about the interactions of music and literature. In 2011 he won the literature prize of the state capital of Düsseldorf. He teaches at the Robert Schumann University and the Heinrich Heine University, is a member of the jury for the German Record Prize and the preliminary jury for the Henri Nannen Prize.
